This privacy notice explains how the All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB)  collects and uses personal data, why we collect it, how it is used, and what processes are in place in respect of personal information.

The All India Chess Federation for the Blind, AICFB  will protect the privacy of users of our services, and enquirers and visitors to our website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Whenever personal information is given to the AICFB by anyone, they are asked to consent to its collection and use by the AICFB in accordance with this Privacy

Notice. Personal data submitted online to the AICFB will only be passed on to third parties who are directly involved in providing services to the AICFB for the purpose required. The AICFB will not disclose any personal data for any other use, to any other party, unless we are obliged to do so by law.

The AICFB website collects data from website visitors for specific purposes that relate to legitimate interests concerning the organisation's core activity, as a National-level sports federation with State level federations involved in braille chess activities.

Neither AICFB Portal nor the All India Chess Federation for the Blind, AICFB  will pass your details on to any third party. If you wish to remove yourself from the AICFB database, please contact AICFB at contact@AICFB-info.org

The information is used predominantly to support us in communicating with you. Specifically, the information is used to:

We also use the information to monitor, manage  and assess our tournaments/events and players /members registration and service processes,

We also use the information to inform and improve activities that enable greater access to the All India Chess Federation for the Blind, AICFB  for all potential blind and visually impaired chess players.

Finally, we use this information to prepare your player record so that we are able to register, communicate  and induct you speedily to the All India Chess Federation for the Blind, AICFB   and it’s events.

 

Who do we share this information with?

The AICFB has engaged AICFB portal/website to support us in the registration of players and members. Non-sensitive personal data is shared with AICFB portal (player, member and tournament management system), Which manages communications with national players and organizations up to the point at which the player is registered for event or tournament.

 

What happens if I do not provide this information?

If we do not receive the information that we request during the registration process then we reserve the right not to consider you for AICFB events and activities.
